Cookies
This site does not store cookies.
Cookies vary widely, examples are passwords or address information
that allow for a smoother transition between web pages on the
same site.
It is a common misconception that web
browser "cookies" allow websites to gain access to
personal information about a user. This is not the case. A cookie
is a small piece of data that is received by your web browser
from a web server and stored on your hard drive. These data help
the web server keep track of your preferences, browsing sessions,
or other information. Sometimes these data are used by website
managers to get a better sense of how their website is being
used. Cookies set by one web server cannot be read by another.
Security
When you submit your billing
information to us, the data are encrypted using Secure Sockets
Encryption. This means that even in the unlikely event that the
transmission is intercepted, the information it contains would
be useless. (In addition, the authenticity of our website during
the secure transaction is verified using a digital ID, or "certificate."
When you connect to our secure server, your web browser examines
this certificate to verify its authenticity.)
When you submit credit card information
with your order, it is immediately encrypted and moved to a secure
location along with the rest of your order.
