If you are associated with a university
and your department or school produces dissertations and theses
in kinesiology and its allied areas we invite you to submit your
students' work.
Acquire a Permission to Publish form
from Kinesiology Publications or download and print the pdf file:
Permission to Publish
- You will need Adobe Acrobat®
Reader. If you do not have the software you may download it for
free from the Adobe
website.
Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts
- As a part of graduation procedures,
graduates must:
- - fill in and sign Permission to
Publish form
- - provide one copy of both the abstract
and the title page
Kinesiology Publications selects theses
or dissertations from submitted abstracts for inclusion in the
collection. After review, the advisor or faculty member will
be contacted for assistance in obtaining the studies selected
for inclusion. Individual students may also submit their completed
theses or dissertations. Submission may be in hardcopy or electronic
form, preferably a pdf.
Guidelines for Submitting Books
Send a clear, clean representation,
either the original or a single-sided reproduction of the book.
The study may be bound or unbound as
the machinery will not affect the bindings. Pack the book(s)
in a padded bag or small box for protection. Individual students
may send their studies either by post office BOOK RATE, or by
United Parcel Service (UPS). Schools, colleges, and universities
may check on the possibility of sending books through Post Office
LIBRARY RATE. The book(s) will be returned in approximately 8-10
weeks.
Guidelines for Electronic Thesis
and Dissertation (ETD) Submissions
Your electronic thesis or dissertation must be in Portable Document Format (pdf). Adobe Systems developed the PDF standard and Adobe Acrobat® is the premiere software for creating and manipulating PDF files (.pdf). To submit your PDF formatted theses or dissertation contact Michael Powell at kinpubs@uoregon.edu.
